I arrived in Paris very early in the morning of the 27th of March, exhausted from the stupid 13 hour flight (why is Australia so far away from the cool places of the world?). I spent the morning wondering around town with my boyfriend before heading over to our Air BnB accommodation in Place Monge by 1pm.
After checking in, I “had a nap”. This nap lasted from about 2pm until 6am the following day. What a sleep!
The following day I did a massive walk around beautiful Paris, through the rain and sunshine and it was the best. I got to go to my favourite cafe to have French Onion soup and a toasty (ham and goats cheese – so good!!!)

I also visited the 3 best bakeries in Paris to eat Almond Croissants – I was not disappointed!!!

I caught a 6 hour train from Paris to Irun to start the Camino the following day. We were greeted at the Pilgram Hostel by a lovely old man who issued my boyfriend and I our Pilgram Passports which are stamped at all the hostels.
I am officially a pilgram. Tomorrow we Camino.
If I don’t see you, good morning, good evening and good night.
