Hi there! We’re Jess, Mike and Miss Adventure, a little family from Australia who enjoy the best things in life – food, music, photography, movies and most of all, adventure.
Way back when, before we had even met, we were both keen travelers, who had done extensive trips all over the world. This love of travel is one of the things that brought us together and before long, off we went to make new memories and start exploring the world with each other.
After the outbreak of COVID-19 in 2020 had halted any exploration plans, we were itching to begin traveling again as soon as possible.
Although; life had a different adventure in store for us when we decided to expand our family. The introduction of our little bundle rocked our world in more ways than one. We have affectionately dubbed her Miss Adventure, as she has officially become our little travel buddy.
In the short time since Miss Adventure came into our lives, we have shared many different travels, with plans to have many more.
We’re going to begin by sharing our personal stories from two of our past trips, along with some helpful travel tips and thoughts surrounding parenting on the road.
Even though we’ve had experience traveling with Miss Adventure, that by no means makes us experts on how to travel with kids. We hope that by sharing our experiences with you, it will empower the anxious parents who want to take their little ones traveling, give tips to those that might need a little more guidance and most of all, connect with the community of fellow globe-trotting families.
The launch of Misadventures of Miss Adventure is an exciting lead up to documenting our biggest trip yet as a family – a huge four month round the world journey, that is going to see us visiting a whole variety of exciting destintions.
