My Itinerary

Today marks the final count down before I embark on my adventure and my first blog post.

The date of departure to Paris is the 26th of March, 2016.

This is by no means my first rodeo. My first overseas adventure was when I was at the awkward age of 12 with my parents and sister, where we spent 6 months living in Italy. You will be pleased to know that over the years, I have not lost my awkwardness or love of travelling and eating.

My second trip was in 2011 and was set over 3 weeks. My boyfriend and I travelled from Switzerland to France, finishing in Spain.

My third trip was massive. I quit my job in 2013 and decided that I wanted to spend 8 months in Europe. I got to spend my birthday in Italy which was really special and something I’d been wanting to do for a very long time.

Spain, France, Italy, Lithuania, Latvia, Prague, England, Scotland, Croatia, Bosnia, Serbia, Albania, Montenegro, Macedonia, Greece, Amsterdam, Belgium, Germany

My next trip is going to be even more special. I am starting with a walk across Spain, called Camino Santiago del Norte (Northern Way of St. James). I am hoping this will take my boyfriend and I 35 days (6 weeks max). Next stop is Italy (because I love it there) and Germany (to see my cousin, his wife and their gorgeous baby).

Scandinavia, England, Ireland signify the last stops in Europe and then I fly over to Asia where I will spend time in Mongolia, Japan, South Korea, Vietnam and Bali before heading home again.

I will be writing about my preparations in my next blog post and talk about all the boring walks I’ve been going on to train for the (approximately) 800 kilometre walk through Spain – Yep, I’m already stuffed just thinking about it!

Until next time, adios amigos

  1. Good luck on the Camino, I only had time for 13days from St Jean to Belorado. Next year i’m hoping to complete the walk as i’ll have more time off work.
